On a Ship with Stowaway

Ummm, its been almost a year since I posted! Well, I am going to be a lot more active, cause theres a few exciting things happening around here! Can't announce it yet, but I will  :)

I made a few pages earlier this summer, and kinda love them so I wanted to share. I first ran into the Stowaway from Quick Quotes over a year ago at the scrapbook convention in Puyallup. I was all ready to buy it! The blues and browns in this paper were perfect to use for my research cruise. Unfortunately the convention was all sold out,  BOO HOO

Its ok though, I just bought it for my Nani ke Ola store! There are all sorts of goodies included. Papers, vellum quotes, and cardstock quotes too. I think I need to buy more collections, it makes it easy to combine papers.

I am also in love with my Lindys Stamp Gang Sprays. The Industrial Chic colors are still my favorite. I am not usually a brown person, I prefer bright colors, but the Steampunk Sepia has turned into a favorite. I also used the embossing powders on the shipwheel chippie from UmWowStudio.

The vellum and cardstock pieces are all themed around adventure and travel. I loved the 4 words - Discover, Explore, Wander, and Dream. I wanted to accent these with some frames I cut with my Cameo. I also love sunsets and sunrises, which always reminds me to Dream. This page, as simple as it might seem, is probably one of my favorites in this album.

I almost used up that brown twine, almost!!!! There's a feeling of achievement when you use up all of a certain embellishment. Like this twine, it came with three colors, black brown and silver. Even if one gets used up, you better believe I will be at the store buying more! Well, I hope you like these pages, and if you love the blues of this collection, head on over to the Nani ke Ola store and pick it up, totally affordable and theres only a couple left.
